Micaela & Mark's Wedding at The Old Daley on Crooked Lake, Averill Park, NY

Updated: Sep 3, 2019

Mark and Micaela are just fantastic. When we first met to discuss the possibility of me shooting their wedding and engagement photos, I could immediately sense that these two were the whole package - so in love, totally on the same page, and just really nice and put together people. Once they told me their first date Druthers... I was like "say no more, I'm the photographer for you".

Their engagement session, if you remember, was freezing. So it's only fitting that they got married on a gorgeous, warm summer's day with lots of sun. I had a really great time getting to know their friends and family and could really tell that they have one heck of a support system. I really love to see the special group of people that surround a couple and all of the love they have for them. I also always like to see a dance floor that people are not afraid to use! By the end of the night there was a serious dance party going on, which is the hallmark of a great wedding day.

I'm really excited to share these little highlights with you all. This was my first time at The Old Daley, and let me tell you... what an absolutely stunning venue. Sarah, the wedding coordinator, was on point the entire time, the decor was perfect, that bridge gave me life, and I could just tell from the start that this was a really quality location that I'd love to go back to anytime.

To Mark & Micaela - thank you so much for allowing me to be a little part of this big time in your lives. I had a really great time getting to know you and taking tons and tons of beautiful photos for you to have and to hold forever. Cheers to you!
