Natalie and Bethel's Canfield Casino / The Church of St. Peter wedding in Saratoga Springs this past summer was one of the best days. After booking their wedding with me YEARS ago (no joke, we were discussing the final season of GoT during their engagement session), and after a few changes of date due to the pandemic, I am so happy to say that we were finally able to celebrate these amazing people on this incredible day.

Natalie and Bethel started their day at a local hotel right on South Broadway in Saratoga Springs. After some beautiful detail & getting ready shots (thank you Christine from Christine Wheat Special Events Firm for assembling such a beautiful flat-lay for us!), we headed over to The Church of St. Peter right down the road for their ceremony. I love the unique setup of this church - the layout really allows for a lot of creativity in capturing all of the special moments of a ceremony. After their receiving line, Natalie & Bethel wanted to take a photo with their FULL guest list. They had guests from all coasts in the states and even international guests in attendance, so wanting a photo with everyone was such a sweet request we were happy to make happen. This can be a tricky task, but the key is understanding the space, knowing the guest count... and bringing a ladder.

After some really beautiful formals & group photos in the church courtyard, we left for Congress park for the last of our groups, some bridal party shots, and THE MOST BEAUTIFUL couples portraits. Congress Park was the site of Natalie & Bethel's engagement session one fateful day in the winter of 2018, so it was really fun to revisit some spots we had already used, and to be able to capture the beauty of this couple - and the park - in a WARM month.

We spent the rest of our time on this fabulous day taking detail shots, candid mingling, and reception formalities. I have to say, I don't think I've ever heard a better best man speech than I did at this wedding. You can see from the photos that everyone in the room was in stitches... and I'd totally love to catch the replay of that on the wedding video if our wonderful video friends will oblige me. I'll just give you a taste - Bethel's best man went DEEP into the Facebook archives for his content. That is all. I loved it so much.

So overall, amazing day. Amazing people. Natalie and Bethel are two really smart, really sophisticated people who care a whole lot about each other and their families and friends. I really loved my "fly on the wall" view of their special day, because the way they looked at eachother and shared cute little sidelong glances all day made my heart melt. I see love in many forms every day, and I just love the way these two expressed it. Guys, thank you SO much for having me at your wedding. It was an honor and a joy to be able to document this wonderful day in all of its glory. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and Josh Prosecco.
