Chris and Kerry's engagement session was one of the most magical sessions of 2021.
On a Thursday night in November, just before heading down to Long Island for a family session & proposal, I made my way to Beacon, NY for a funky bar/movie theatre session with these two. I hadn't met them in person yet, but we had been introduced by Chris's brother, had Zoomed to get to know each other, and had shared many an excited text about our upcoming session. When I walked through the door of Draught Industries and saw their cute smiling faces, it felt like we'd known each other for years.
First, we captured sweet moments at Draught, which was the site of their first date years ago. After that, we frolicked around the streets of Beacon and made our way to Story Screen movie theatre, and were delighted to be let inside (we were pumped, because Kerry and Chris are big movie people, especially horror flicks).
After all was said and done, we sat down at Wonder Bar to chat, have a cocktail, and discuss their big day. It was one of my favorite casual evenings with a client, ever. Needless to say, I am so looking forward to their wedding this August. Let the countdown begin!
