Adelphi Hotel Snowstorm Proposal, Saratoga Springs, New York

Where were you during the huge March 23rd snowstorm that hit Upstate NY? I was shooting the PERFECT SARATOGA PROPOSAL.

Nicole & Elliott got engaged at The Adelphi Hotel a few Saturdays ago in the Library of The Adelphi, and everything was perfect. Elliott had reached out to me months before to plan this dream-proposal, and worked diligently to get all of the details just right. Champagne, strawberries, candles, flowers, snacks, and framed photographs adorned the private room he had reserved - and E+N's friends and family from near and far hid, just waiting.

Elliott led Nicole to the Library under the pretense of grabbing a "casual pre-dinner drink" for his birthday (which was that weekend), and when they arrived, it was clear that the plan was... different than expected. BETTER than expected. Her jaw dropped as Elliott walked to the fireplace, grinning, ring box in hand. Then he was on one knee. With huge smiles from all & happy tears, his proposal was accepted (duh!). They were ENGAGED!

After that, all of the friends and family that Elliott had planned this special day with burst into the room - some guests Nicole knew was coming, and some were a complete surprise, having traveled from far away during this crazy storm. It was beautiful so see so many happy faces & reunions - I could totally feel the love.

Before letting E+N eat, drink, and be engaged, some snowstorm pictures were a MUST to celebrate the occasion. We braved the cold to capture some pictures on broadway under that iconic Adelphi sign, danced on the sidewalk, and took moody staircase pictures, all before releasing the beautiful newly engaged couple to their crew to celebrate.

Nicole & Elliott, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT!! I hope the two of you are having the time of your lives celebrating this incredibly special time in your lives! Thank you SO much for having me there with you to capture this perfect proposal.
